- Answer There you go folks. Hamilton Beach intentionally dodged the question meaning the heating element is made of aluminum just like most of the other coffee makers being sold today. It's obvious the manufacturer is concerned more about their bottom dollar. Thank you Hamilton Beach for clearing that up.
