• I shred cheese, plantains, carrots and it is pretty solid, slicing is great. We love the prpduct.

• It shreds easily and very well! I have shredded frozen meats and also used the chopping blade to make a pate with meat and both work well. I have not tried shredding cheese but it can chop veggies to a fine consistency for pico or cooking. I haven't tried the slicer, however, so I am not sure of that.

• My wife uses this all the time and she loves it. Usually used for grating cheese and chopping veggies. Never had any issues, always happy with its performance.
