- Answer Thank you for your question. This food processor is excellent to chop, mix, slice, or shred most foods. However, to maintain peak performance, do not use your food processor for the following: grinding grain, coffee beans, or spices; slicing frozen meats; kneading dough; or crushing ice.

- Answer Combines dry ingredients well, and does a good job of cutting in your fat (butter or shortening). Put the result in a bowl before mixing in your liquids, however. It's a food CUTTER, not a mixer.

- Answer In my experience, it does not get to a fine powdering texture. I have put cashews in and it will chop them very finely, but still much more chunky than a powder. I am considering getting a spice grinder for powders.

Questioncant find part for the lever in side the handle(bottom part broke off and cant start machine) it is the part that goes into the base and turns on processor. thank you.

- Answer Yes you can use this food processor to make pie dough, just use the pulse feature and then finish kneading by hand

- Answer So far we have used this to dice onions only and for that purpose its amazing as my wife uses finally chopped inions for several of the recipes she commonly makes at hone. I would imagine it would be great for peppers too.
