“Does the cable wrap around the item you are looking to secure or does it attach to the wall and the item you want to secure? In my case I want you use this to keep my TV stand from tipping(tv is also attached to the stand via a pole in the back).”

• The anti tip device attaches with screws to both the wall and the item you are trying to prevent tipping, It does not "wrap" around the item

• The cable is very short - about 6 inches. You attach one end to the furniture and one end to a wall stud. I'd recommend one of the securing products specifically for TVs.
