The quadro tuner will allow you to view from multiple devices your over the air content. If you also purchase their DVR service for only 35 a year you can record your over the air content. Be aware that you will need your own device to record with which setting up can be difficult but not necessarily so. You can use a PC with lots of memory but you will need to leave it on. You can also get a NAS storage unit but will need one that isn’t the cheaper options for ease of set up. The guide on both the over the air and DVR program is nice I like their slice guide option. Be aware what you mainly operate the app with...great interface through Xbox not so much on PS4. For Apple TV another HD tuner allows both cable and OTA but not the Quadtro. So not sure on the ATV. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use the hdhomerun quatro with my plex server and that allows me to record any OTA shows I want. The plex server also provides a program guide for the hdhome run quatro. Silicon dust also has a channel guide for the product. There are also other products that can provide similar recording capabilities for this product, but I haven't used them yet. You can also check out the Nvidia Shield TV. The Silicon Dust products also work with them.

I have had two of the older 'Connect' devices that have ran for a couple of years without a glitch. My only reason for the upgrade was to be able to go "fan-less" with no moving parts - plus the convience of having four tuners built in was a no brainer. Plus the "Quatro" is about half the size of the other devices! To answer your question: The HDHOMERUN website offers a paid subscription to its own recording solution. However, I myself, use a Raspberry Pi 3 with LibreELEC and TVHeadend installed to do the recording for me. I also subscribe to Schedules Direct ($25 a year) for my own personal guide tailored for my local channels. But if you wish TVHeadend can sync with the local over the air guide to provide a usable grid guide that is user friendly. All in all I am very happy with my setup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, HD Home run will do it all for you, you will have to buy their annual DVR service and a Network storage device to store the recordings.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Get a TiVo - it's only $50 more and has 500GB hard drive and Wifi capability. The only downside is Tivo guide is $15/mo vs HDHomerun $35/yr, but I don't know how good HDR"S TV guide is.
