A:AnswerYes, if you want to change and update the PAS levels. There is no way to do this on the display only. Unlike other Heybikes you can access sub menus in the controller. You have to use the app to locate the bike with GPS, set up PAS levels, turn off the bike remotely.
A:AnswerMine actually came with a sticker that says class 2 on it… it does go faster though. You can limit in the computer. Most trail systems will say whether a class 3 can be on them or not.
