Just hook it up to your receiver like any other stereo or TV. It's that simple. This TV will run anything you put into it, but you're better to run it through your receiver so you can get your 5.1 or higher audio running through it. I will save that. The normal speakers that come with the TV are among some of the best TV speakers I have ever heard in my life. They are that good. However, you still need to have a proper sound system attached to this TV. Any TV of this size would be an injustice to not be hooked up to an audio video receiver and having a full surround sound and Atmos set up.
