Does this model need an internet connection? null

This tv has a jack to hook up to internet....weather or not you want to hook it up is your choice....reasons why you might want to hook it up.......1...for streaming via internet.....2...downloading apps.....3...updating the software in your tv for optimum performance of tv......enjoy.
