There's a USB plug in the back of the Hisense. However, it will not play non-video based data. If you download a movie and place it on a thumb drive, it will play on the Hisense. I suggest getting a media addition that has a USB/HDMI connection and play your USB through that. I hope that helps. I recommend a Sony multiregion Blu-ray/DVD player. It will play any dvd from regions 1-6 and it also plays USB/Thumb-drive/Flash Drive. Items. A very good value for the price.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I took a brand new 32GB flash drive and loaded it full of MP3s with my computer. Then I simply plugged it into the USB port on the TV, switched the input with the TV remote to USB/media and all of the music was ready to play. The interface takes a little while to get used to, but it is easy. I leave the flash drive plugged in all the time to have music any time I want it. Very cool feature and an overall very nice TV, especially for the price.
