A:AnswerI was concerned with your question too before I bought it thinking I may have to use one of my old digital tuners from when the change from analog was made. It has a tuner and a coax input for cable or antenna. With the antenna hooked up I am able to get all of the channels that I can get with the other tv's in my house. The programing of the tuner for the stations is about twice as fast as my one year old samsung tv and 10 times as fast as my 8 year old panasonic tv and those old conversion tuner boxes.
