No it's 1080P HD (1920x1080) 2K is 2560 x 1440 4K is 3840 x 2160 Even though it's 1080P the picture looks great. Higher resolution gets more important as you go up in the size of the screen, being that this is 40" it's not as important than say a 65 or 75" screen. It's more affordable because it's 1080P HD.
