A:AnswerIt has some channels and apps installed. Most of what you'll find on Roku can be found on this TV. You can sideload apps, but that is touchy since some apks can be a threat. Just know what you're getting into.
A:AnswerI was having the same issue of the 43H5510G switching from TV Mode to the App Home Screen while watching TV. This occurred about every 1 1/2 hours. Hisense Customer Service said to "reset" the TV... I never did a reset. Others have indicated that didn't work. My TV is used with a cable box from Suddenlink, which is connected from the cable box via HDMI to the 43H5510G. Originally I had it plugged into HDMI 1 / ARC... ARC: Audio Return Channel - this HDMI port is used along with a sound bar to where the TV sends sound to the sound bar. Since I do not use a sound bar I went into the Settings Menu and disabled ARC (DEVICE PREFERENCES>Sound>ARC>OFF). I also switched the HDMI cable to HDMI 2. I have not had the issue of the TV switching to the App Home Screen since making this change. Hope this works for you...
