Can I hook up my DVD / CD player to this TV? null

as long as your dvd player has the proper connection which it should have. My dvd player has an HDMI output so I would use that one because to me the picture and sound are better than using another type of cable. If you don't have an HDMI output on your dvd player check the manual to see the best way to hook it up to the tv.
