“For anyone who has used external speakers with this model, are you able to control the volume with the remote. I had a TCL that allowed me to and a Sharp that did not. Thanks.”

• For powered speakers hooked up through the audio out, the signal is not controlled by the remote or the TV volume. I replaced this TV with a TCL TV, which does allow volume control on the audio out channels.

• If the external audio is connected via HDMI Arc the TV remote can be used to adjust the audio.
