Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Like most flat screen tv enthusiast no flat screen is complete without a surround sound system. I bought one when I bought the tv and got a great deal on both. Together it is the absolute perfect marriage for a truly amazing theater like experience no matter what your watching. I love the Hisense flat screens, they are amazing!
Sorry, there was a problem. This also is a solution for a computers low output.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I, too, had read that the Hisense 43R7E audio was weak, but I purchased a Vizio SB362An-F6 2.1 Sound Bar to mount in my office beneath my wall-mounted TV. I liked the idea of not having to have a large subwoofer to enjoy the sound. This Vizio has two subwoofers built into the sound bar. Granted, does not produce the same "feeling" you can get with a more powerful, larger subwoofer but for a smaller room (my office is 12' x 14'), it does provide a more powerful, fuller sound...making it much more enjoyable to watch my cable and streaming channels. I hope this helps you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought this tv for my son to take to college. We only checked it briefly before packing it back up for the move, but I didn't notice a particularly poor sound quality. What you might consider instead of a "plugged in" speaker through hardwires, maybe getting some type of WiFi cordless speaker. Some of them you can put across the room from the tv, closer to where you sit, ideally one on each side of you on end tables, so you get stereo sound. Some are rechargeable cordless speakers, but I would get the kind you plug into a wall outlet and then pair through wifi to the tv. You will certainly get better sound and not need to recharge the speakers. The headphone jack you used is designed for headphones or earbuds. The specs are not strong enough to power a normal speaker. The dig optical audio output is used to send the signal to a stereo receiver, not a speaker alone. There is a remote possibility that the tv is not functioning properly and maybe if you can exchange it still, a new one may sound better. Good luck to you, GadgetGeorgeMM
