Q: QuestionHow wide is the stand for the 50" model? The Hisense site says it is about 29". But here you are saying that it is almost 39". I have a cabinet that is 32" wide. And can the stand itself be anchored at the base?

Regrettably, the cabinet that is 32" wide will not hold the television, no the television cannot stand by itself and be anchored at the base. - A:Answer I think the hisense website says is 700 nits peak not 300 you might check.

Q: QuestionIt shows it has a voice only remote. Can a universal remote for manual use be used instead? Like a harmony remote or smart phone.

- A:Answer I use a Harmony Ulitmate/touch remotes. I put the 50H8G remote into the Harmony system. It works fine, I didn't get all of them in yet, but all of the major ones. Seems to be the same codes for all of the HiSense TVs. I don't want an open mic around, so I don't use the included remote after setup and then getting the codes into the Harmony system.

Q: QuestionThe page on BestBuy.com for this TV says it supports HDR10, Dolby Vision AND HDR10+, but the Hisense webpage for this unit does not mention HDR10+. Which webpage is incorrect, BestBuy or Hisense?

- A:Answer Hisense's support team failed to address my actual question. Best Buy's page says this tv supports HDR10, Dolby Vision AND HDR10+, which is different from regular HDR10. The Hisense webpage makes no mention of HDR10+ support, only regular HDR10. Does Best Buy's webpage contain an error, or Hisense's?

Q: QuestionWhere can I obtain a full Hisense 50H8G USER MANUAL -- NOT a skimpy quick setup Guide but the full user manual. I conversed with a Hisense with no luck -- they said they would email me a link to it but that was several days ago -- nothing received.
