A:AnswerThe TV should automatically recognize that content is HDR. I tested this by going into netflix and playing back a movie that says it's HDR. While the movie is in playback, go to picture setting on TV and it should let you modify picture settings specific to HDR. I don't know how, or if, you can get to these settings if HDR content is not actively playing on the TV. And I don't believe you can upscale standard HD or 4k to HDR if it's not HDR content (i.e. - says HDR in movie info).
