Can you get HDR with component video imput null

No, hdmi and above. Component is limited in its viewing ability. Now with the TV's up scaling it can make somewhat of a difference but it will be even more noticeable with an HDMI. Those range from $5-$200 so find one and enjoy yourself!

HDR is supported only through USB and HDMI inputs, not through component input.
