Hi there. I decided to get the 2 year extra warranty. Mainly because I am not very familiar with the Hisense brand. Also because it is electronics. Personally it just made me feel more content. I hope this helps you a little with your decision. Happy Holidays.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not necessarily. All 50+ and larger Hisense TV's already have a two year parts and labor warranty. Considering the price of televisions have come down significantly in recent years, you may be better off saving the money you would spend on an extended warranty and put it toward purchasing "the newest TV on the market" whenever the Hisense finally gives up the ghost. However, if your Hisense will be in a room where it may have exposure to potential damage (that would be covered under the extended warranty), by all means purchase the extended warranty. Option three would be to Ask the Magic 8 ball.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I did not. TV has a one year warranty on parts and labor. So far with all the he tv's I have purchased over the years never had a problem . Decided not to pay the $80.00 for a $311.00 tv
