“Did anyone who owns this originally want a 55 inch But got this 50 inch and was satisfied despite the screen size? What influenced your final decision?”

I got both 50 and 55 they are both exactly the same. The reason I got the 50 is cause an open box was avail and it was 160$ cheaper than the 55.

I was coming from a 42" with speakers on the sides (old hitachi plasma) so 50" was a big improvement. But my advice would be to go for the 55". Bigger is always better!
