- Answer Nvidia cards respect the display's EDID, and this Hisense unit advertises 4k 60Hz resolutions as 4:2:0 only. Forcing the Nvidia driver to use an alternative EDID can make the display work with full 4:4:4 color in 4k 60Hz resolutions, but this is a cumbersome hacking job that should not be necessary. HISENSE, PLEASE replace the EDID with correct information via a firmware update!!! Or at least supply correct EDID files on your support website. For other owners out there, google this topic and follow the posts by n3k on avsforum.

- Answer It has a web browser app (named "TV Browser"). The cursor is positioned using the joydisk, and text is entered using an onscreen pad. Awkward and slow, but it works.

QuestionHow is the upscaling on this TV? Pretty much all the content I will be watching in the foreseeable future will be sub-4k resolution (cable TV broadcast at 720p, standard definition DVD, Netflix/Amazon streaming).I want to make sure it doesn't look bad.

- Answer This tv will not support Chroma 4:4:4 at 4k. Personally verified and verified through hisense customer support. Please stop saying it does "hisense product expert"

QuestionWhy can't I change the aspect ratio when streaming Netflix, Amazon or content from my PC? It's really annoying as it's often stuck in normal mode cutting off the sides or zoomed in.

- Answer There are 4 HDMI on the tv. 2 of them are HDMI 2.0 (THAT STATES 4K at 60hz) AND 2 of them are HDMI 1.4 (THAT STATES 4K at 30hz) I talked to a supervisor at Hisense and he said a link could be sent to my email address that could make one of them HDCP 2.2 compatible. However, getting call backs from tech when they say they will call never happens when they say it will. I'm still waiting.
