Q: QuestionI read somewhere that HDMI ports 3&4 take a different type of HDMI cable. Are there different types of HDMI cables?

• A:Answer From all of my reading, you don't need any new cables, they work compatibly. You'll of course need a device that outputs 4k with an HDMI 2.0 out port as well.

• A:Answer Hi, depending on the input and source, it is possible to turn off up-scaling in some cases. Press the "Aspect" key on the remote, and if you see 1:1 (dot by dot) direct pixel mapping on the screen, please select that. Please be advised that this ability is not available on all inputs and all sources, however.
