It depends on what your source material is. If you are only watching cable or OTA TV, or a standard Blu Ray disc, then the maximum resolution the TV will display is 1080P. You must be watching a 2160 source, such as a YouTube 4K video, a Netflix show filmed in 4K, or a 4K UHD disc in order for the TV to display full 2160 resolution. This is not a fault of the TV. It is completely normal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The TV has a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 ("4K") and most source material is presented at that resolution. (Take a magnifying glass and look at the screen and you will see the tiny pixels.) But you are probably looking at the resolution of your cable box input. Most cable services deliver only 1080i or 720p on their programs. The TV will report that resolution number to you. However, the image processor on the Hisense TV will attempt to upgrade that 1080 image to near 4K quality. If you want to see true 4K quality, go to YouTube on the TV and look for a 4K video. Or, you could get a 4K DVD player and buy a 4K version of a movie. It will be presented in full 4K quality.
