Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have an external hard drive connected to the TV for app storage. The apps work, so I imagine you could play movies in that way. The inputs are as follows: 3 HDMI ports and the optical audio port on the side (as you look at the back of the set, on the right) along with two USB ports, and one HDMI-ARC, Ethernet, and audio component ports squarely on the back (anadin, on the left side but not on the side, squarely on the back). Power is on the right side.
