Hi Sher, thank you for your interest in the Hisense 50U6H. No there is no way to lower the volume of the background music. You can enhance the dialogue by switching to a different audio mode. Please go to Settings > Display & Sound > Sound > Sound Mode and select Speech. In Speech mode, low and high frequencies are attenuated to improve the reproduction and clarity of the human voice.
