“If you plug in an optical digital audio cable does that automatically mute the internal speakers and/or the headphone jack? I need to connect a sound bar, and headphones at the same time. Thanks.”

I am using this tv right now, and I can confirm that I am also using a optical audio cable from the tv to my RCA sound system. And no the tv speakers do NOT turn off automatically. They still work even with optical cable connected. But what I did is, in the Audio settings, I just turned off "TV Speakers", so now even if the tv volume is turned up, nothing will happen. And I just control the volume from the RCA system. (This tv is amazing! I love it)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, attaching the audio cable does not mute the internal speakers. You'd have to turn the T.V. volume down to zero and use the volume up/down on your soundbar. This Hisense T.V. does not have a headphone jack.
