“Will the Usb port read an external hd? Will it read avi, mp4, mk5 files?”

• Yes. I plugged in my Windows 7 backup USB drive and it read all the folders, etc. I viewed several images. I did not test mp4 or avi but it can read them from USB stick so should be the same.
