“Does this set have Bluetooth? If not, can a separate Bluetooth device be purchased that will both receive and transmit Bluetooth signals? I assume that a Bluetooth device would be connected to an HDMI input.”

NO the television does not have Bluetooth connectivity and you would not be able to connect a separate device to the unit to send and receive Bluetooth signal.
