The original ARC supports Dolby Atmos, it just won't be lossless (TrueHD version). It will be a lossy Dolby Digital Plus version. Good thing is that, unless you have a very expensive home theater system, you won't notice the difference. Streaming services, like netflix, doesn't have lossless anything anyways.
