QuestionDoes the U6g offer pass through audio for dolby atmos? are any of the hdmi ports 2.1 compliant? are any of the ports Earc capable?

Yes this TV has audio for dolby atmos, However HDMI 2.1 and eArc compatibilities is not supported by this model, but one of our latest model 55U8G has all three functionalities. QuestionJust bought the TV. Very Disappointed in Hisense that this unit does not have eARC. It is 2021 and still competitors like TCL have eARC on cheaper TVs. Is there any way I can have Dolby Atmos on this TV with an Atmos and eARC supported soundbar?

- Answer The original ARC supports Dolby Atmos, it just won't be lossless (TrueHD version). It will be a lossy Dolby Digital Plus version. Good thing is that, unless you have a very expensive home theater system, you won't notice the difference. Streaming services, like netflix, doesn't have lossless anything anyways.

QuestionCan you download the Sprectrum TV app with this TV?

- Answer Spectrum does not allow their app to be installed on the google or android TV operating system This is not a tv brand issue, its a operating system issue. No TV with this operating system, no matter what brand, can download the spectrum app, not Sony, not Samsung or any other brand. If they run the android or google operating system you wont be able to download the spectrum app. Do what I do, If you love the TV, just and a Roku to it. The google/android operating system can do a lot more than a Roku, with the exception of the Spectrum app.

QuestionJust purchased this TV but cannot get all of my settings right that give me a clear picture. Many shows seem blurry and/.or pixelated. Anyone have a good recommendations for all of their settings that has worked well for you?

- Answer Try going to Rtings.com. Look for Hisense U6G settings. This is a good place to start. I had the same first impression, but since I took some time adjusting the settings the picture looks very good. It is better with streaming and DVD - Blu-Ray’s than Cable Tv. ( Cable is sometimes not a very good source ) Once adjusted this TV rivals the Big 3 at half the price.

QuestionI have misplaced the screws that hold the mounting brackets to the tv (55U6G). How can I replace these?

- Answer That is a little bit complicated because the leg stands are angled. But they span 31” on the front side and 25” on the back side.

QuestionDoes this TV have Roku built in?

- Answer It does not. However, it does have Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+, and some other streaming services preloaded (of course you need an account with those services to use them). The TV also has a link to the Google Play store to download any of the android apps. After a little learning curve, it's been a great TV with a superb picture.
