The quality of the image will always be better in a darker room setting than in a bright room. However, my U6GR has excellent image quality for anyone sitting more than 45 degrees away from the center. In a bright room with reflection on the glass surface from windows or table lamps will interfere to some degree with the viewing quality.

I bought the U6GR because of its ULED screen technology and the Roku operating system. I also have an earlier Hisense 4K 55" Smart TV with Roku (not a U6GR) and was so pleased with it that I replaced a 2017 46" Sony fluorescent tube TV with the U6GR. My streaming service is DirecTV Stream and I couldn't be happier with it. I was very happy that BestBuy took in the old 46" Sony for recycling.

If it’s not good, then go into picture settings and change something. I didn’t like the side view until I adjusted a few things. I don’t know what specific change helped it, but it worked.
