If you are using the Roku platform you can download the Roku app to your smart phone and use it just like your remote. This model also has voice consults options and can be controlled using the Amazon Alexa app and Alexa devices. If you have other Roku devices in your home that have working remote controls, you should be able to pair them to this TV to get basic controls to function.
