A:Answer I picked it up before anybody answered, but I laid it flat, with the screen facing up ( as indicated by the arrows on the box). Turned out fine. No damage to the screen. As I have read elsewhere, I think a lot of the blind opposition to this is left over from plasma TV's, which no longer exist. There were good reasons to keep them upright. But modern QLED TV's in the factory box should be fine to lay down on a flat even surface, as long as you are careful and avoid big bumps/pot holes/impacts.
