It'll ask if you want to connect to the internet but, you can skip setting that up.

You will be able to watch TV channels with a cable box or antenna, connect Blu-ray/DVD players, hook up speakers to the TV. However, if you wish to use the smart features such as video streaming apps, you will have to connect the TV to the internet.
