It's always going to be compressed Dolby Digital Plus Atmos, lossy Only a true 4k Blu-ray player will give you 7.1 atmos lossless or uploading using Plex server which is still just downloaded 4k Blu-ray content.

Please try again later.You can get a 4K fire stick Max it will pass Atmos out I have a Vizio elevate sound bar Fire Stick plug directly into sound bar also if you have at most capability on any audio device it should go through the TV if it has a pass-through setting. On the audio setting. I have a TCL 65R615 2018 model and it has passed through with the Roku operating system. Atmos is awesome.
