“What are the length of legs for the 55" and how far do they extend out from front of tv? My space is somewhat limited and this larger screen cannot be setback very far into the available space. I cannot have the legs hanging over front of mantel.”

It will be much more functional anyways, will look better and they’re less than $50 for a nice one with an extending/rotating arm. Also, if it’s up on a mantle, that means it’s likely too high up for a good viewing angle on the couch/in the chair, so it will need to be tilted a few degrees down to get the best picture, which is most easily achieved with a wall mount.
