Best Buy isn’t losing $4k, they’re not losing anything, they’re selling. It’s you who’s losing the opportunity to purchase. It’s not their fault you can’t afford “wish list” items you put in your cart. Having it in your cart is not a “guaranteed hold” - those items are in Best Buy’s inventory until the transaction is fully completed by checking out and paying. Until then, those are Best Buy’s items to sell, not yours to hold.
