Hi Damon! Deciding when there are so many good choices is tough, isn't it? This TV is tied for my favorite at the moment with the Hisense H9F. Both are great TVs, the H9F adding a few premium features you may or may not need. This TV is one of the newest Hisense models released at best buy, but the 55" variant has been for sale a bit longer. Check out those reviews for comparison. Android vs. ROKU? That's an ongoing argument amongst many. Good news is we make both, and really, it's just personal preference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The H9F has quantum dot technology giving better color. Of course it is more expensive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have both an android and a Roku. I prefer the android. I can get more apps on Android. With my Roku tv I had to add an amazon fire stick to get all of my apps. I’m super happy with the 8. Great picture with HD signal. Love watching football on this TV

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Android offers a lot of apps and games compared to Roku. The downside really here is fragmentation just like in Android phones. Right now It runs on Android Oreo (8.0). Who knows how long will Google support this. Otherwise the OS is great.
