purchased mine Feb 2017 .My tv would not update through the built in software either. I had version #123 they do have a much better firmware version #315. contact their support and they will email it to you. I just updated to this last week once installed. it fixes some port issues and when it detects the HDR signal, it switches to HDR picture mode now. Plus the HDR especially the netflix is a lot better. not too dark anymore.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have you set up the wireless internet on your tv? The only way to get the updates is to have that set up. Mine updated as soon as I finished setting the tv up.
