Just bought this TV as of 11/15/2019 and there is no Prime Video in the Play Store even after an update to the TV. I had to manually install it onto the TV. The following instructions will help install Prime Video onto this Hisense H9F TV and possibly other Android TVs as well. 1. Put the latest "Prime Video APK" (search Google) on the root of a flash drive (FAT32 preferred). 2. Plug flash drive into TV. A prompt may come up to show the flash drive and if you would like to "Open" it. Open the flash drive. (If this doesn't come up, go download a "file explorer" from the Play Store and install a file explorer.) Browse for the "Prime Video APK" and select it and install. 3. A prompt will show up about installing this "Unknown source." Click okay or yes, and this should take you to settings to check, "Allow unknown sources". Check "Allow." 4. Click okay to install the "Prime Video APK" and now the Prime Video app should be in the Google Apps now.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. It doesn't come installed but was added with a recent update.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If there is a way to add the prime video app I sure can find it. I have been streaming it from my Note 10 & that works fine but I would rather have the app in my new TV. ~John
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. The Google Play store included with Android TV does not have the Amazon Fire TV application. I tried hard to find a way around it, but could not. You'll have to use a Fire TV device of some sort, or an external media player that has the Amazon App.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, TV comes with the app!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it has prime video app support now after updating tv. Bought this tv back in September but finally got prime app in late 2019 .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have to Agree with ScienceLover. Unless there is a BRAND new update I missed as of 9/14/19, you can not get Prime Video via this Android TV os!! If I did miss one, PLEASE tell me where/how to get it specifically, because I have failed trying pretty much everything short of fudging the os itself. (Not that I can really do that either.) Maybe if the tv gets popular enough there will some hacks to better tweak this diamond in the rough?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes Google and Amazon have made peace with each other so you can now get prime on Android devices like the operating system on this TV and YouTube is back on Amazon devices.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
