Go into the settings and check the HDMI arc settings it could be set to the wrong settings for your sound bar and won't have sound out it. I like to put mine on PCM so this way on my Vizio sound bar everything will play and surround sound on my 5.1 system. Sometimes I change it with movies only.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You may have to turn off TV speakers in the audio options. I'm running a surround receiver without a problem. It did take me a minute to get the sound bar working on my mother's 55" model. I also had to turn the volume up on the TV remote to get sound out of the sound bar. If that fails, use an optical cable if your bar has one.
