Hello, thank you for your interest in the Hisense 65U6GR5. Unfortunately, there is no way to deactivate the WIFI; this television does not have Bluetooth. And it does have an Ethernet port so you can connect it to the internet via CAT-5/6 cable rather than using Wi-Fi for a data connection. Not sure why the TV being connected to Wi-Fi would impact the ability to use a Blue Ray player though?
