“The power button on the remote doesn't power the TV on after it's been off for a long time. The Netflix and Hulu buttons do. Is there a fix to this? When the TV is already on and you power off, then back on the power button works.”

Try just using the home button instead of Power button. It sounds crazy but it worked on a roku streaming stick and aslo a roku tv as well. Would press power button no response......pressed home button and they both would turn on. Streaming limit setting on the tv may need to be changed as well.
