The Hisense U7K leverages a VA panel with a depth of 10 bits. For backlighting, given its name, the U7K uses Mini-LEDs that populate the screen, which gifts the display its gorgeous color and brightness levels. The 55-, 65-, 85-, and 100-inch versions of the U8K feature VA-style panels, while the 75-inch model uses an ADS-style panel. VA panels tend to offer better deeper black levels at the expense of a wider viewing angle, while ADS panels trade deeper black levels for better off-axis performance. From what I know, and also just quickly did some searching I can't see the depth bit for the U8 however I would imagine it's the same as the U7. I did a quick search as i mentioned for this answer and the only thing I found that references 8 bit is different than what you asked but both the U7 and U8 both list this spec: Color: DCI-P3 color space/8-bit plus frame rate control (FRC)
