I couldn't say "best" but this TV has made a huge difference over my previous one in the brightness category. I had trouble seeing just about anything in midday in my apartment, but the new Hisense makes that problem a minor one-- if a problem at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This TV has performed well in my bright living room with a large window on one side of the room. There is a little glare from the opposite side but a much better performer than my last 4K TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes really good tv for the price and to me better then the highend tvs like Samsung, sony and LG.hisense really went all out on this model.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This TV is so far excellent in bright rooms, natural or electric light matters not! Overall this is the nicest TV I have owned! My only problem is very dark scenes that are CG generated as they appear blotchy or blocked (not from digital latency!). An example is that I use a YouTube video of a thunderstorm over the ocean and the clouds are horribly rendered. This never happened on my 6.5 year old Samsung curved TV. If Hisense can lend me a hand I would very much appreciate it! But yes(!) so far in a bright room this TV shines!

The Hisense U8K is extremely bright in both HDR and SDR and has fantastic reflection handling, so it's stellar in any bright room setting.
