  • Questionis it possible for this dehumidifier to have a hose attached so it could drain in a floor drain? where is this manufactured? (country)

    Asked by Lana.

    • Answer This unit is supposed to be able to attach a hose and drain to a floor drain but it doesn't work due to the poor design of the unit. On other websites, other customers have indicated this also. I have called the company repeatedly and they are very deceptive. They told me I need to get a plug that is missing but no other units in the stores have plugs either, so they deliberated gave me false information to get rid of me. It is the design of the unit that prevents the water from draining out of the house. There is no plug or stopper in any of their units, so this was an outright lie, told to me on two different occasions by two different customer service reps. The dishonesty of this company is appalling. Also, the unit has doubled my electricity bills. There is no way a dehumidifier should use as much energy as the entire rest of my house.
