Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It wouldn't fit in my Jeep Renegade. The box is 45.5 inches wide...and 8.2" high, not to mention 72.2 inches long. My car could handle the length, but the box was simply too wide to even start putting into the hatch. I doubt it would fit in your Escape...but best of luck. In addition, this really shouldn't "lay down". I'd get someone with a pickup truck and ratcheting tie downs with bed hooks to haul it for you so it can remain upright without damaging the screen.
