A:AnswerHi Paul, I saw this model in the store and know what you mean-it’s obvious that Hisense customer service DID NOT understand, but what is worse, their interpretation of your post created a horrible and unacceptable response. I just ordered those model last night, and now thinking I am going to cancel based on their response (below). The glass screen is installed on the metal frame, as you can see where you see the typical bezel/border, the glass sticks out instead of every other tv I’ve seen where the border covers the edge of the class. Now, Best Buy didn’t have any comments on this, and I didn’t think it was a deal killer, as I assumed it was just designed differently-maybe it’s an improvement? So, customer service assumed something different and literally stated “is a result of physical damage” which is a rude and unacceptable response. They have no way of knowing of anything happened, and they didn’t bother looking at the tv design to better understand what you were asking/talking about. Based on their accusatory response assuming it was damaged at your home, and even if they didn’t check the design to better understand what you were talking about, this tells me that if the screen started coming off our out of the bezel/border, it wouldn’t be covered. This is horrible, as it would clearly be a manufacturers defect (unless of course it was dropped/damaged at your home). If this is standard Hisense customer service, I am stopping my order today.
HISENSE-what say you? I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt that you really didn’t understand the question because you would have to see and/or know the design of this TV, but since you didn’t, your response was terrible and tells me that if ANYTHING goes wrong with any Hisense I buy, I’m screwed. So, please review and respond so Paul, myself, and others really know if Hisense backs their products or not, because based on the response (below), THEY DO NOT.
