QuestionCan someone make a detailed review on this Hisense U8H 75inch. And talk about the blacks, local dimming, brightness, colors, clarity, sharpness, and your personal recommendation. Thank you.

- Answer Blacks are great and the brightness is really too bright. I had to turn it down. The settings are a challenge to get right. The setting also seem to change on their own. Getting HDR to work with my XbobX was a challenge as well. Their Tech support does not seem to know anything beyond what your average house wife would know. I had to manually update the TV to get HDR to work. Screen would just go black switching to or from HDR. But once I got it to work it has been working ok for two months now. Clarity is good and sharpness is good as well. This is my first 4K TV so maybe I am comparing Apples to Oranges here but RRR on Netflix was mind-blowing. That was the first 4K show we watched and my wife looked over at me and said the TV was worth it! I would say this TV is the best of the CHEAP ones! Better TVs out there but not at this price!!

QuestionWhy does the Hisense Support Team insist that the Hisense 75U8H 75" TV can be purchased at BestBuy when it has never been in stock on the website? Why are we requested to call when they obviously lied about the websites availability? Smells fishy

- Answer They do have it on stock online but it sold out fast. It was on stock one day i was going to buy it but i waited till the next day because the wife was at work and i needed to check with her first and the next day its sold out. So i check everyday and its finally back on stock next week so i bought mine. I have it ship to a store near me and got my tv in 2 day.

- Answer I too have been unable to get a straight answer on availability. Have contacted both hisense and Bestbuy and they both push me back to the other with ZERO answers. I have an idea, let's bring a new TV to market and advertise it but have zero inventory available. pretty brilliant. Thanks!!!!

QuestionReviews of this TV criticize its "Processing." The reviews claim this deals with "Digital Noise" and "Upconversion." This matters to me, because I have many 1080p Blu-rays, 480p DVDs and 720p Cable. I have little 4K content. How is its "Processing"?

- Answer Processing is where the TV unfortunately falls short 1080p looks great 720 looks good but below that is where you start noticing degration in picture quality. Its not terrible but bigger brands like Samsung and Sony do it better.

- Answer Hisense, you answered my question by telling me to reach out to Best Buy. But, I need to know when Hisense is going to release the UH9 TV, not when Best Buy will start carrying the UH9. As of right now, nobody carries the UH9. I just want to know when the UH9 will be released by Hisense?

- Answer Local dimming dims the backlight zones and it creates deeper blacks but can result in blooming Oled dimming is individual pixel dimming and it creates infinite blacks with zero blooming and it’s better then local dimming but Oled can get permanent burn in

- Answer ALL screen sizes use a VA (vertical alignment) panel, including the 75 inch model. According to Digital Trends, this has been confirmed by Hisense’s engineers themselves. They state that there has been some confusion even within Hisense’s customer service and marketing departments, and wrong information has been disseminated regarding the panel type. But Hisense’s upper management and engineers confirmed that all three sizes of the U8H models released in USA have VA panels. And after seeing the contrast and black level achieved on my 75” model, there is no way this is an IPS (in-plane switching) panel.

QuestionWhat are the differences between the 65" and 75" versions? For example, I read the 75" version was released later and has a larger number of lights. I also heard the 75" version does not suffer from the early bugs the 65" version needed firmware for.

The U8H delivers much better picture quality, as it has a better local dimming feature with a Mini LED backlight. The U8H also delivers a better gaming experience, as it has a significantly faster panel with much less ghosting behind fast-moving objects. Finally, the U8H looks better in a bright room as it has much better reflection handling and gets much brighter in SDR, meaning it can handle more glare. QuestionWhy does the U8H say it is HDR (10-Bit) and Dolby Vision (12-Bit) when a couple reviews say the panel of the U8H is only 8-Bit?

- Answer The answer from Hisense Product Expert is confirmed to be wrong. I have seen multiple reviews confirming and verifying the U8H does NOT have a "True 10-Bit" or "True 12-Bit" Panel. Instead, the U8H uses the watered down technology called "8-Bit plus FRC" that "simulates" a "10-Bit Panel." This "simulation" is what causes the severe problems with "Posterization" and "Bandwidth" that the U8H are confirmed to have.

- Answer As of right now, March 10, 2023, this issue has not been fixed. Their updates have fixed the issue with gaming resolution being cut in half but they have done ZERO for the posterization or color banding. I just got the N0212 update about 4 days ago and installed it, still have color banding and a bit of posterization. I honestly don't think they can fix it because this is a processor problem. They make their own CPU's in house so I think they dropped the ball on this one by not making it powerful enough.
