A:AnswerThere's an update to this issue. Since Google discontinued Google Play Music and "transferred" it to YouTube Music, even though they transferred your uploaded library from Google Play Music, they have taken away the ability to play music in your library on ANY Google device (a Home device, Chromecast, etc.). It looks like you can if you purchase a YouTube Music subscription - so now, even if you purchased the music from Google and put it in your library, you can't play it on a Google device unless you pay them some more money each month. Oh, and in case you were thinking that you could bring up your music library on your phone in YouTube Music and just cast from there - forget it - you can't CAST from YouTube music without a premium subscription. Looks like they have thought of everything!
